Sarah Palin beats Joe Biden in debate

Finally, Sarah Palin was able to speak to America without the filter of the media elite. And by doing so, she delivered a knockout blow to Joe Biden.

After all, she didn't fall flat on her face as many liberals predicted.

And she was able to show America that John McCain isn't the only maverick on the ticket.

My wife says she likes the team of Mavericks because they remind her of Tom Cruise in the movie Top Gun.

As someone whose first car was a Ford Maverick, that's ok with me.

Driving a Ford Maverick does not a maverick make any more than saying over and over and over and over and over and over that you're a maverick make you one.
Maybe McPalin is trying the "fake it til you make it" strategy. I'll give them credit for that. :)

“A lot of people are apathetic about campaigns because you see a lot of the garbage that goes on in campaigns and the personal attacks and the character assassinations that are so unnecessary,” she said. “They’re useless; they detract from the issues.”
~Sarah Palin, Fairbanks Daily News Miner Editorial Board Interview, 2006

No, she didn't fall flat on her face. She didn't drool, either, or claim to have international experience because she can see Russia from Alaska. Of course, she's never been on Little Diomede, so she's never actually seen Russia. But let's don't let the truth get in the way here...

Real mavericks don't brand themselves.
